Removed my entire gallery earlier today. Reason: The critique response I've been getting is slim to nil, not to say non existent. That simply doesn't give me anything to work with, so I don't see the point of keeping the gallery going any more. The most I can get out of it (and so I have) is art theft. I will however stay here and keep watching some of the great photographers that still share their art here (thank you all for that!), and will be back with a link as soon as I get my own website. Till next time, take care! /P

Schools soon out for this time, in two weeks to be more precise. As always it's quite sad having to separate from all the friends here, but if everything goes well (which I think it will) I'm up for another year of photography school. Looking forward to it already! In other news, I'm still working on the Dublin project, and some other stuff on the side. Three exhibitions this week, and another one the week after that. In other words; I have a lot of sh*t to do these two weeks. But it's fun, and a large part of photography. Oh, and as for the always present geeky part of the news; I'm going to sell of my digital camera. I won't buy a

Project update

0 min read
My ongoing school project is done for now. We've had the "report" on it and the critique has been good, so thats fun of course. Thursday night is vernissage for the big school exhibit, so this week will be preperations all the way. I'm also in the process of making the whole project digital, and after that it's time for prints, framing and to find out if theres any place that would like to exhibit my project. It feels good right now, and I'm pretty pleased with the result even though it didn't turn out the way I expected. Haven't really figured out yet if I'll put up the whole series here on DA; On one hand it's because the response here

I see your headed for Dublin where I am currently living. Great choice of capital for a break.

Things you must do while there:
1. Do the Temple Bar night thing
2. Take an evening walk along the Grand Canal from Grand Canal Dock to Portobello bridge
3. Takes lots of night shots on the Wexford Street/Camden Street axis; that's where the action is on Friday/Saturday nights.
4. Visit the Gallery of Photography, good people there.
5. Fall asleep with a good book in Stephen's Green (they used to hang people there once)
6. Walk on Dollymount Beach (great for photos in the Dunes)
7. Take the DART out to Malahide, a lovely seaside village.
8. If you feel energetic, take the DART to Bray and walk on the cliff walk to Greystones; have tea/scones/cake in Polly's.

And LOTS, LOTS more!!

Enjoy!
Wow, thanks a lot for these usefull tips!
That's just what I've been looking for.

Now, I probably won't have time to do all of those things while doing my photo project, but I will bring the check list along with me and try to squeeze in as many of them as possible.

Let's just hope that damn volcano won't blow this trip for us.

Thanks again!
